Sights to See
Despite its fishing village aura, Corralejo boasts of some wonderful sights to see and explore. Two of them are Playas Corralejo Viejo and Muelle Chico - small beaches that surround the harbour of the town. They both possess fine sand and shallow water, perfect for those with children and for those who are into swimming and relaxing out of the water.
The Parque Natural de Corralejo is another must-visit. This breezy nature park is about 10 kilometres away from the resort. Because of its windy atmosphere, it has gained popularity with kiteboarders and windsurfers. The locals have also built fortresses of loose stones to protect tourists from the wind.
Corralejo is a primary holiday destination for so many people who love the luxurious island life. Despite the town's simple origin, it was able to stand up and develop as a wonderful tourist mecca. It’s a great location for a relaxing break and as a base to explore the island.
